Meet Daniel "Monty" Montiagut

Daniel Montiagut has been a staple in the South Florida youth soccer community for many years. Daniel brings a wealth of experience as a coach and leader on both the national and international stage.

A native of Barcelona, Spain, Daniel comes from a coaching family with his father also a professional coach AT R.C.D Espanyol, Spain. A former goalkeeper in his youth, Daniel has had much success as a player and now as a coach here at Davie United SC.

At Davie United SC, Daniel holds the position of Director of Goalkeeping and also serves as a Head Coach for two of our ECNL RL teams with his rising U18 team being crowned Champions of the ECNL RL - South.

As the Director of Goalkeeping, Daniel's responsibilities include developing a goalkeeping methodology for both boys and girls from the Foundation Phase all the way through to the Men's 1st team. He aims to implement a thorough curriculum to aid our goalkeepers with their continued development.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree, Journalism, Adverting & Public Relations - Eserp University, Barcelona, Spain
Goalkeeper Diploma - A Zero
Coaching Diploma - R.C.D Espanyol
US Soccer - D License
