Meet the driving force behind our U15 and U17 NPL Girls teams at Davie United Sharks! 🦈 With an impressive coaching journey spanning 26.5 years, Betty's passion for soccer was ignited when she answered her brother-in-law's call for assistance on a recreational team back in 1996. From that moment, her coaching journey began, and she's been dedicated to the sport ever since. This October marks her incredible 27-year coaching milestone!
For the past two years, Betty has been making waves in Davie, instilling a love for soccer and life values in her players. She's captivated by the family-oriented ethos of Davie United and the deep respect they hold for their coaching staff.
Betty's commitment to continuous growth shines through her pursuit of the B Pro License with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). Her dedication to honing her skills and staying updated with the latest trends in coaching has directly translated into providing top-notch training and guidance to her players.
Throughout her coaching journey, Betty's achievements are nothing short of remarkable – undefeated seasons, regional and state championships, and players making their mark in ODP and national teams. But beyond the trophies and medals, her proudest moments come when players return to express gratitude for the positive impact she's had on their lives. Betty's coaching philosophy is rooted in kindness, respect, and the belief that soccer is a tool to nurture well-rounded individuals.
