Introducing Coach Taylor Scandizzo - 2013 Girls Grey team. Taylor's coaching story is rooted in her deep love for the beautiful game & her desire to pass on that passion to the next generation.
Drawing inspiration from her father's coaching legacy & her own adoration for soccer, Taylor embarked on a mission to be more than just a coach – she aimed to be a role model & a guiding light for her players both on and off the field. Taylor's coaching philosophy is one of inspiration, positivity, & a fresh perspective. She aims to instill unwavering positivity in her players in the face of adversity & to nurture their love for the game that brought them together.
With two years under her belt as a head coach & a total of five years in the coaching arena, Taylor's dedication to her craft is undeniable. The Davie culture, deeply rooted in family values & the love of the game, resonates deeply with Taylor, who herself started her journey as Davie Shark player.
Taylor's coaching prowess extends beyond the field, as she holds a USSF F License to complement her experience. Her commitment to her own growth translates into enriched coaching for her players.
One of Taylor's proudest coaching moments was leading the Parkway Christian School elementary girls' soccer team to a championship victory. Through hard work, perseverance, and the love for the sport, Taylor transformed a group of newcomers into champions both on and off the field.
Her coaching values are a testament to her holistic approach – work hard, embrace mistakes as stepping stones, and above all, have a blast on the pitch. Taylor believes that these principles not only shape great players but also cultivate essential life skills.
When Taylor's not on the field, you'll find her cheering on her favorite professional soccer team, the US Women's National Team.
